1947 – The history of Rondine
In 1947 Francesco Ranzoni, grandfather of today’s Chairman, founded a company in Coccaglio (Brescia) that specialized in making aluminium saucepans: Rondine Italia. In the 1980s, the company was one of the first in Italy to use non-stick coatings and screenprinting on its products. Around the same time, Rondine Italia reached another major goal with the creation of the Trudi line of non-stick aluminium cookware, which became iconic products, thanks to the successful combination of technical and stylistic innovation with an excellent price/quality ratio and established the Rondine brand in Italy and abroad.
